I enjoy writing code, and have an appreciation for making it work fluidly on the servers I manage. I like experiment, understand, and improve things, even if it’s not something I’ll personally use. The “disatracted” term on the page name comes from that I really like to experiment with technology. “Oooh shiny!” is certainly one way to look at it.

I appreciate fine whiskey (preferably bourbon), and love to share the ones I find with family & friends - especially around a campfire.
I enjoy joking about The Ballmer Peak1, and that “Webdev needs whiskey” but I don’t usually have any desire to drink while writing code, and would rather enjoy my whiskey in a more relaxed setting.

I find being out observing nature to be greatly enjoyable, but at this point in life, desire the comforts of actual bathrooms (running water) and real beds to be of great importance.
